Community matters. At Vida we provide clients and families an opportunity to make connections and build community with other local families and staff at Vida’s monthly play groups.
The play groups are hosted at a variety of parks throughout the Fox Valley and are open to both families who participate in the Vida parenting mentoring and families in need throughout the Fox Valley. Families are able to play and interact with other families, local church members, and Vida staff during the events, forging connections, having fun, and enjoying a meal together. Vida Church Partners commonly donate the meal and volunteer their time at the event.
The monthly play groups are on the third Mondays of every month from 5-6:30 p.m. in the Fox Cities. Summer 2022 dates are:
Monday, June 20, 5-6:30 p.m., Appleton Memorial Park, 1620 E. Witzke Blvd., Appleton
Monday, July 18, 5-6:30 p.m., Neenah/Menasha location TBD
Monday, August 15, 5-6:30 p.m., location TBD
The play groups also include a closing product hand out. Parents who attend earn diapers and wipes.
Families are asked to register for the play groups, at least one week in advance to the play group, by calling Vida Support Services at 920-731-4354. At that time, they may make their product requests too.
