Vida Medical Clinic and Support Services is a beneficiary and partner of the The Family Radio Network’s 31st annual Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive, Feb.12–March 5, 2023.
The annual drive collects personal hygiene and cleaning products for 100+ Wisconsin crisis agencies in 19 Wisconsin communities, including for Vida in Appleton. More than 900 area businesses, churches, and schools participate annually, hosting collection boxes in-house and donating more than $500,000 worth of supplies to their local crisis programs. All donations, including financial support, remain in the communities from where they come.
Supplying nonprofits and organizations like Vida with personal hygiene items and cleaning products through this drive makes it possible for these organizations to dedicated and best steward their limited financial resources to direct services, personnel, and other mission-centered programming.
Donations to the drive will again help Vida restock the Vida Little Dear Boutique, which provides material support and products to women, men, and families served throughout the year. While learning in our pregnancy education and parenting education programs, moms and/or dads earn credit, which can be spent in the Little Dear Boutique.
Vida staff and volunteers will also support the this drive by unloading, sorting, and stocking donations upon completion of the drive.
